What our students are saying about

health and healing in the irish calendar year

I really enjoyed the Health and Healing in the Irish Calendar Year course. I gained a lot of technical knowledge on the plants covered and how to use them and was able to start putting this into practice which I have loved! I found the material to be thought provoking and led to self-reflection on why we have certain traditions and how I could incorporate these into my day-to-day life. As the course progressed, I became more aware of the Wheel of the Year and more in sync with the changing seasons and the opportunities each of them brings which has led me to view them differently and enjoy each season more. I enjoyed the monthly discussions immensely and feel that this course has opened the door to a whole other world for me!

Caroline G.
Ireland

Dr. Rosarie Kingston is the leading authority on the history and practice of Traditional Irish Medicine that infuse the modern Irish landscape, music and language. In her book “Ireland Hidden Medicine: An exploration of Irish indigenous medicine from legend and myth to the present day” Dr. Kingston explored the origins, decline and re-emergence of this tradition. Her course “In Health & Healing in the Irish Calendar Year”, takes you through a year-long practice to integrate these traditions into the modern world. This course is ideally suited those of Irish decent that wish to re-establish and authentic connection to their ancestorial roots and anyone seeking to integrate the Irish tradition into modern life.
